He will steal your heart the second you look into those big brown eyes! House trained ✅ does his business outside, is calm and collected in the house no need for a crate. Sleeps through the night. Beau is a couch/bed kind of dog... LOVES HIS CUDDLES and just wants to be right by your side. So preferably someone who doesn't mind sharing their couch for the best snuggles you'll ever get! People friendly ✅ is great with anyone even kids. Other pets: Beau is playful and friendly with bigger dogs but still may need to be the only one in the home. Possible meet and greet. Small dogs he doesn't seem to mind but not introduced enough to tell. Cats ❌ Car rides ✅ great in the car, loves the windows! Walks✅ a dream to walk, will stay right by your side. Athena's housetrained, crate trained, ok free roaming the home, good with kids, dogs, unknown cat behavior, she's not destructive, enjoys meeting new people, likes car rides and daily walks, she's quiet, and a total love to be around. So the big question, why did her owner surrender her? Athena will chase rabbits and has done it a few too many times. Easy fix, we will be requiring a fenced yard to keep this girl home safe and sound....not a big ask when you're getting THE-BEST-PUP! |

| Notes: | Brains and beauty, that's our gal Hannah, Hannah Banana to her friends. This young pup found herself playing tag with animal control in the Hamburg area, as you can see AC won...in Hannah's defense they cheated and used treats. After a few days of sitting in the "slammer" waiting patiently for her family to bust her out it started to settle in that they weren't coming. The kennel was her new reality. She was another unclaimed stray, another pet once loved with a family, a home, and a name. She was now confused, stressed, and anxious. On her 5th day Hannah as we lovingly named her, became the property of LCAS, on this day we started with a blank canvas. This is every stray. We have no background, we learn every day they are with us. What we know about Hannah; she's one SMART cookie, ready and eager to learn, she's playful, loves fetch, enjoys running and long walks, she's high energy requiring daily exercise, she's attentive to people and enjoys her time in the office watching all the activity. Hannah has shown reactivity to other dogs. We are seeing this far too often with most strays, this stems from their previous life and the lack of work/training their owners offer them. This is not the end of the line, Hannah is young, at 10 months of age she can be worked with, she can learn how to be around other dogs. With her high energy we would say older children, unknown cat behavior, she is housetrained, loves toys, she keeps her kennel tidy, Hannah will give her adopter years of loyal companionship all she ask is for leadership and love. Hannah is a staff favorite, her gentle, sweet, loving personality with her big brown soulful eyes have won us all over! |

Recently brought into us, Myles has been nothing but a gentleman during his stay at LCAS. He’s personable, silly, and not afraid to speak his mind if you aren’t giving him what he’s looking for. He may be a little lumpy, but don’t worry. The vet we have on site has taken a look at him and says that he is in good shape for his age— they’re just fatty deposits! Having said that, Myles is on a bit of a weight loss journey, something that his adopter will need to keep up with for his long term health and well-being. This little man is active and still has lots of life to live! Don’t rule him out just because he is a little grey around the muzzle—he’s looking for his furever, too! |
