| Notes: | Beau had cruciate surgery on January 29th and is recovering in his loving foster home! Beau the beautiful has got an A++ on just about everything. He will steal your heart the second you look into those big brown eyes! House trained ✅ does his business outside, is calm and collected in the house no need for a crate. Sleeps through the night. Beau is a couch/bed kind of dog... LOVES HIS CUDDLES and just wants to be right by your side. So preferably someone who doesn't mind sharing their couch for the best snuggles you'll ever get! People friendly ✅ is great with anyone even kids. Other pets: Beau is playful and friendly with bigger dogs but still may need to be the only one in the home. Possible meet and greet. Small dogs he doesn't seem to mind but not introduced enough to tell. Cats ❌ Car rides ✅ great in the car, loves the windows! Walks✅ a dream to walk, will stay right by your side. He loves to play and will require someone to be active with him daily. Great at fetch and bringing the ball back! Grooming/feeding✅✅ eats great, stays relaxed in the tub for a bath. Overall Beau is such a sweetheart. Is attentive and will follow you around. Very loyal and loving. Equal parts playful and relaxed. | Notes: | Fraizer is quite the gentlemen at only 3 years old- he has a taste for the finer things in life. Be it the ladies or kiddos over 5, he knows what he wants! Who wouldn't when you are as well traveled as him? Speaking of, at first, Fraizer can be a bit of a door darter, however once he becomes comfortable within a space, this tendency seems to subside. As with most little dogs he tends to like his territory (and will mark it as such. With proper training, he can learn not to!). A good Kong treat to work on and a plate full of pate are all this small boy needs to be content. Cat behavior unknown and he can be picky about who he calls a friend dog-wise. She enjoys keeping shelter staff in the know about her kennelmates behavior and is often chiming in to conversations up front with her two cents. Brash and sassy, she is not afraid to speak her mind or demand you share your treats with her! Speaking of treats, Misty is on a special weight-loss diet for the time being. Her adopter will be responsible for continuing this journey with her so she can live her best life in her new forever home. We are trying to convince her that pets are just as good as Milkbones, and, don't tell her this, we think its working. Misty is quite the affectionate girl. She may live up to the occasional chatty and side-eyeing behaviors known to her breed, but she's only really trying to communicate to you a need she has. | Notes: | We keep seeing sad stories like Faith's all over social media, thankfully for our sweet girl she was rescued just in time. Leaving everything terrible in her past behind her, Faith has fought hard, her will to live and give love has helped her beat all the odds. Left with one blind eye that does not slow her down, Faith has physically recovered well. At only 3 years of age we see a puppy learning new things, but to her it feels like it has been an eternity to get to where she is. She's enthusiastic, playful, excited to meet everyone, loves daily walks and romping at the dog park, food is her best friend, and we are starting to introduce canine buddies. She keeps her kennel tidy, enjoys being in the office with staff, likes her nylabones, and is curious about most things. Faith is a gem! The unconditional love this girl will show her people is unmatched. We're not sure who would be rescuing who with this adoption. Her gentle loving nature caught the eye of Kaleb with the Fowlerville National Junior Honor Society as he dropped off donations they gathered for the shelter. With the monetary donations raised they selected to sponsor Faith's adoption fee. Our hearts are full, thank you for all the wonderful donations, and a big thank you for sponsoring Faith! |

| Notes: | Have you been looking for a sweet addition to your family? If so, you've found her. Sophie is a young pup and she is still figuring things out. She is a little timid, but we know that she has met lots of neighborhood kids and loved them, she is housebroken, walks pretty good on a leash but does pull when she sees something excitable. I mean, don't we all. Sophie has lived with another dog, and she did just fine. She is a lab, border collie mix so we are looking for an energetic family with a lot of room for this gal to romp around and explore. |

A toy will take you far with this pup! He is always ready to go-go-go and would benefit from a home with dedicated people willing to get him through the puppy stage with proper direction and patience. He is already picking up on simple cues like "sit" and keeps his kennel clean. He has been around other dogs and cats in a long weekend foster home, however information on his behavior with the feline residents is limited. His paws tell us that he will trend towards the bigger side, but that just means there will be that much more of him to love! |
