| Notes: | *In a foster home, call for meet/greet* Talk about a lug head, this big guy was found as a stray by a vet tech who tried to find his owner. With no luck he ended up at the shelter. Bruno quickly showed us what a ham he is, he's quite the crooner too! Bruno does bark to get your attention and when he's excited. This smart pup knows sit, shake, down, he comes when called, enjoys walks (he's strong), loves to romp around the yard, loves to "fish" out of the pool, and has done well with the canine friends he's met, he will not share toys and shows some possessiveness of them. Bruno is a big boy, with a big heart, he loves everyone. We say no small children due to his size and tendency to chew up toys. | Notes: | Yes Betty's cute, but she requires a lifestyle not many will be able to provide. It is not a preference, it is required. Betty cannot process dry kibble or any ol can food, she needs Farmer's Dog, Pet Fresh, or something equivalent. This poor pup has already endured surgery for a prolapsed rectum due to the constaint straining resulting from a very bad GI system. It took months to get her poop straight! Betty is receiving injections with LCAS every Friday, we will continue this for a few more weeks, adopter is required to bring her back for these. The second issue, Betty will be on long term antibiotics for pyogranulomatous peritonitis that was found during her spay. The vet can speak more on this. So yes, she's cute, yes she has the best personality, yes she will live a wonderful life with an adopter that unundertands her needs and continues her care. Facts: plays well with other dogs, is a stinker about other dogs near her food/treats, unknown cat behavior, total snorts and snuggles, loves giving kisses, enjoys playing with stuffed animals, loves meeting new people, and would prefer a yard to roll around in. |

Hazel is gaining trust with new people, she approaches timidly, unsure, she needs reassurance that no harm will come to her. Once she loves you, she LOVES you. Hazel quickly becomes your shadow, longing for attention and kisses. She enjoys having a doggie buddy and is really coming out of her shell during play time. So much to learn, so much love to give. Hazel spent some time in a foster home to recover from her spay. They said she is playful and energetic but also will lay down and chill, did great in a crate and enjoyed riding in a car. They also found she knows sit and shake! |

Great things come in small packages. He is not a fan of is cats/kittens. Pistol Pete took vacation from the shelter with a foster, his foster found out that he is almost completely housebroken, he is crate trained, loves riding in a car, knows basic commands, and gets along with all the dogs and people he meets! He loves to play but knows when it is time to chill out and snuggle! |

Being a cattle dog/heeler mix he is an active guy who is going to need both mental and physical exercise to keep him happy. Yoda is a no cats kind of guy. He is okay with other dogs, but doesn't enjoy another dog who is all up in his business and not respectful of his space. Yoda can be a little snippy- like most herding breeds, due to this he would not be a good fit with children. He would do best with a family who has breed experience. |
