His start in life has been a little hectic and uncertain BUT he has done wonderful in his foster home! Dax is crate trained, walks well on a leash, sleeps all night 👏🏼 and follows directions pretty well for being a young pup! He is dog friendly and good with kids that aren't wild. 🤪 He shows a puppy-like interest in cats. He's a good boy in the car and loves being outdoors 🌲🏡🏕️! He's made it clear that he is a real snuggle bug 💕 and that he loves attention! He can be timid at the beginning, so we always recommend slow intros! We love learning more as you become healthier and more comfortable. Potential adopters for Truman need BIG dog experience, he needs a firm person, or things will get out of hand, he likes to see how far he can push things. With Truman's size, the human needs to be in control. No small children, 16+ Truman has shown to be very playful and may be too much for some dogs. We are looking for placement with him as a single dog, with training he could possibly live with another dog in the future though. He comes out of the gate ready to roll. Bindi would do great in a home where someone is around or in and out throughout the day, she will need time to adjust when left alone. *Bindi did meet an outdoor cat and did ok for her first intro, we are not saying she is good with cats, this was only an observation during a day outing.
