Convenience Fees Convenience Fees are charged according to the current rate schedule and are used to cover the costs associated with the processing of credit cards, as well as to help offset Livingston County’s infrastructure, development and ongoing operational costs of providing internet access to LivingstonLive.org Online Services. Order FulfillmentDepending on the type of service requested, your LivingstonLive service order will be processed online or through traditional methods of fulfillment. Online Fulfillment: The order is processed and presented in a digital medium to the user online through the Internet. For example, a Tax History order retrieves the requested tax information from a database and is formatted to display directly within in your web browser within a few seconds after your online purchase has been authorized. You may then use your browser to view, print or save the requested information as displayed on your computer screen. Traditional Fulfillment: The order is processed based on the user’s online request; however, the output is in a non-digital medium which will be mailed to the user within a specified number of business days. For example, an order request for a certified copy of a deed is processed and purchased online, however the output is forwarded to the Register of Deeds Department for final processing because a certified deed must have the raised official seal of the Livingston County Register of Deeds. The certified deed document will be mailed to you within a number of business days, as specified in the email confirmation of your order. Accessibility Policy
Livingston County strives to provide public online accessibility to the information made available on LivingstonLive.org to the broadest number of persons as is reasonably possible. User email addresses will not be sold or disclosed to third parties, nor will they be used to market other LivingstonLive.org online services. Refund Policy Any purchase made by a user from Livingston County via LivingstonLive.org is NON-REFUNDABLE, in whole or in part, unless specifically noted otherwise on the website.
